HP, Global Head, Social Impact
Michele brings over 15 years of experience to her role as the Global Head of Social Impact for corporate sustainability at HP. She also leads strategy for HP LIFE, a program of the HP Foundation that provides free skills content for entrepreneurs, small business owners, and lifelong learners.
She works with HP’s core business units (Personal Systems, Print, 3D Print) to drive shared value, including:
Her Advisory Board Roles include serving the HP Foundation, UN Women’s Global Innovation Coalition for Change, the President’s Council of Cornell Women, the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) Private Sector Advisory Group, Save the Children’s Council Action Team Gender Equality, and the non-profit start-up, Public Sentiment.
Michele will be the Sustainability Director for the ClimateForce: Antarctica 2021 Expedition, led by renown explorer Robert Swan, OBE. In 2017, she was selected to participate in the Corporate Eco Forum’s “Sustainability Leadership” Program.
Michele previously served as a consultant for MIT Solve, and as the Deputy Director of Program at the Clinton Global Initiative. Her international experience includes roles in Thailand and Malaysia at the Alliance for Financial Inclusion, and in Cambodia and Sub-Saharan Africa for One Acre Fund. She is proficient in English, Spanish and French; she is also proud to speak Khmer.
Her career began in investment banking at JPMorgan, where she covered credit risk within the insurance sector.
Michele holds a MSc in Sustainable Development from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London and a BSc in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.
