Garima is Managing Director and Partner with Boston Consulting Group’s Social Impact Practice in New Delhi, India.

Since joining BCG in 2005, Garima has worked extensively on issues of education and youth, spanning across segments of early childhood education, K-12, skilling and higher education. She is BCG’s global topic lead for primary and secondary education,and has led several multi-year engagements for state-level public schools transformation in India impacting 20Mn+ children. She has also led work related to private sector engagement in education, and in addition to work in India, works closely with BCG’s education team in Africa.

Garima’s clients span a diverse mix, including Central and State Governments’ Departments of Education, development banks and multilateral organizations such as the USAID, World Bank, ADB etc., Foundations such as the Rockefeller Foundation, Michael and Susan Dell Foundation as well as private sector and NGOs in education – all towards the larger goal of driving societal impact.

From 2012 to 2014, Garima worked at Shiv Nadar University, a private university venture that she helped set-up in the first two years of its existence, after which she returned to BCG.
