Merit America is combining high-quality workforce training for in-demand fields with personalized career coaching and professional development to bridge the gaps that limit career advancement and economic mobility for young adults stuck in low-wage work.

Its virtual programs offer learners a fast, flexible and affordable mainstream pathway to the middle class. A Zero Percent Loan removes financial barriers, with repayment beginning only once learners earn more than $40,000 annually. And, for learners who are not eligible for the loan, tuition is fully covered by employers, philanthropic supporters, or nonprofit partners.

Merit America has served more than 17,000 learners, generating more than $1.3 billion in cumulative wage gains, according to Bridgespan. Every $1 in philanthropy represents a $33 social return on investment.
