Maydm (Madison, WI)

Maydm provides girls and youth of color in grades 6 -12 with the skills, experiences and connections to pursue careers in and change the face of STEM. It provides one-day workshops, after-school programs, summer programs and paid internships in STEM fields – all focused on the holistic development of students, including soft skills such as communication, teamwork and leadership development, as well as the technical skills to work towards a career in STEM.

Since 2015, Maydm has worked with over 3,900 students, hosted over 75 programs and hosted 30 site visits with the aim of encouraging young girls to pursue careers in STEM.
