The Global Business Coalition for Education (GBC-Education) is a US-based not-for-profit organization dedicated to ending the global education crisis and unleashing the potential of the next generation.
GBC-Education and your organization intend to collaborate with public and private sector partners to advance its respective missions in support of the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goal 4 of quality education for all. The collaboration is free of cost and is at-will.
GBC-Education intends to provide your organization with Affiliate membership status with benefits including:
• Access to Tools and Insights: resources, best practices and policy insights to strengthen the impact of your organization’s education activities.
• Global Connections and Knowledge Sharing: expertise, best practices and updates on global education policy discussions through an access to the GBC-Education’s global network of businesses and associations.
• Collaboration and Campaign Participation: opportunities to engage in education campaigns to contribute local expertise and opportunities to collaborate on regional education initiatives.
In the spirit of collaboration, GBC-Education and your organization will:
• Share relevant insights, best practices and opportunities related to business engagement in education in good faith, with no obligation for either organization to act upon shared insights.
• Grant each other permission to use their respective logos to acknowledge the affiliation. Any other use of either organization’s name or logo must be pre-approved in writing.
• Acknowledge that Affiliate membership does not imply endorsement by GBC-Education of your organization or its individual members’ missions, policies or activities.
• Agree to disclose any formal government or political affiliations or direct affiliations with industries that GBC-Education does not engage with, including arms manufacturing or distribution and tobacco or alcohol industries.
