Diversity Cyber Council (Houston, TX)

The Diversity Cyber Council unites people, processes and technology to build a more representative workforce in cybersecurity. The Council uses mentorship, sponsorship, scholarships, affordable training and inclusive hiring practices, along with outreach, to increase cybersecurity literacy and interest for women, Black, Indigenous and people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, first-generation students and other underserved communities.

It develops strategic partnerships with universities, employers, nonprofits and government bodies to scale impact, influence policy and strengthen education-to-employment pathways, while providing career development resources, mentorship, inclusive curricula and improved access to cybersecurity opportunities.
